Gsi interactive, the digital marketing services agency of e-commerce technology provider GSI Commerce Inc., has acquired Silverlign Group Inc., a WEB site DESIGN and online marketing firm based in the San Francisco Bay area. The acquisition brings GSI a West Coast presence and new clients, GSI says.
Citing tough market conditions and a decline in consumer spending, furniture retailer DESIGN Within Reach Inc. reported $23.8 million in online sales for 2008, a decrease of 17.9% from $29 million in 2007. Net sales declined by 7.7% in 2008 to $178.9 million from $193.9 million in the prior year.
